Young Stars Are on Target for Charity Benefit
October 6, 2008
It was practically a Hollywood youth rally Saturday at L.A. Live during a benefit for St. Jude's Hospital Children's Research Hospital. Variety 's Power of Youth, presented by Target, lured about 100 young stars to join cancer patients for Wii dance-offs, punk rock makeovers and plenty of music. The budding celebrities weren't all about charity, though; some were happy to tell USA TODAY what else they've been up to.
Former Full House star Jodie Sweetin, 26, says she's ready to get back to work after having Zoie in April: "I just finished a film ( Port City ), and I'm working on shooting this reality show. We just shot the pilot and now we're shopping it around. I've been away from the business for a while, and now I'm ready to come back. So this will show my life: new mom, new wife and trying to get back into the business. We took it to ABC Family, and we have a few more places we're showing it to. I'm ready to come back."
